New York Jets (21 vs 13) Houston Texans

Aaron Rodgers: 22/32 completed, 211 yds, 3 TDs
Garrett Wilson: 9 catches, 90 yds, 2 TDs
Jamien Sherwood: 7 tackles, 2 sacks

C.J. Stroud: 11/30 completed, 250 total yds, 1 turnover
Joe Mixon: 24 carries, 106 yds, 1 TD
Tank Dell: 6 catches, 126 yds

The Jets claimed a Thursday night upset over the depleted Texans, keeping them alive in the AFC.

A slow start to the match saw just one score in the opening half - a three-yard touchdown run by Joe Mixon - before a riveting second half display led by some vintage Aaron Rodgers quarterback play.

Two touchdowns were thrown to Garrett Wilson, including on an all-time one-handed catch at the back of the end-zone to take the lead in the fourth, before a 37-yard Davante Adams score essentially sealed the result.

C.J Stroud and the Texans may have some soul searching to undergo, struggling woefully on the offensive line, and failing to hold up defensively in pivotal spots.

Atlanta Falcons (27 vs 21) Dallas Cowboys

Kirk Cousins: 19/24 completed, 222 yds, 3 TDs, 1 turnover
Darnell Mooney: 5 catches, 88 yds, 1 TD

Dak Prescott: 18/24 completed, 163 total yds, 1 TD
Rico Dowdle: 17 touches, 107 yds, 1 TD

This loss may have ended the Cowboys' season.

Quarterback Dak Prescott will be sidelined for four weeks with a hamstring injury, marking a second costly blow after the loss of Micah Parsons earlier in the season.

But at 3-5 on the season, Dallas is yet to show they are capable of playoff calibre football even with a healthy lineup, boasting a woeful defense - which had been their calling card in previous seasons - and an offense that lacks a run-game entirely.

The Falcons took control early with a 14-3 lead, which grew to 27-13 in the fourth quarter. Backup Cowboys QB Cooper Rush could not lead the fight back.

Baltimore Ravens (41 vs 10) Denver Broncos

Lamar Jackson: 16/19 completed, 280 yds, 3 TDs
Derrick Henry: 24 touches, 133 yds, 2 TDs
Zay Flowers: 5 catches, 127 yds, 2 TDs

Bo Nix: 19/33 completed, 259 total yds, 1 INT
Courtland Sutton: 7 catches, 122 yds

Yet another Raven domination on the season and another near-on perfect Lamar Jackson performance.

Baltimore were never going to lose this after their upset defeat at the hands of Cleveland, and their stars stepped up accordingly.

Jackson and Derrick Henry in tandem can look like the most unstoppable force in the history of the NFL when they're clicking like this, running through the teeth of the opposing defense and opening up routes for receivers like Zay Flowers to cook for 127 yards and 2 touchdowns from just five receptions.

Sean Payton and the Broncos had no answers, failing to fire a shot after their second quarter touchdown.

Buffalo Bills (30 vs 27) Miami Dolphins

Josh Allen: 25/39 completed, 235 yds, 3 TDs, 1 INT
Ray Davis: 6 touches, 90 yds, 1 TD

Tua Tagovailoa: 25/28 completed, 231 yds, 2 TDs
Tyreek Hill: 4 catches, 80 yds

Despite being a divisional matchup, few expected this match to remain tight throughout and even fewer expected a 61-yard Tyler Bass field goal to decide it.

The Dolphins outgained the Bills on the day, and Tua Tagovailoa put on a passing clinic, throwing at 90% for his 231 yards to a wide variety of his receivers. Concerns over Tyreek Hill's form continue to draw headlines, only receiving four catches in this match, albeit for an explosive 20 yards per reception

Josh Allen typically led the way for Buffalo, throwing another three touchdowns and connecting on some crucial bombs, while only rushing for 7 yards.

Carolina Panthers (23 vs 22) New Orleans Saints

Bryce Young: 16/26 completed, 171 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT
Chuba Hubbard: 15 carries, 72 yds, 2 TDs

Derek Carr: 18/31 completed, 236 ds, 1 TD
Alvin Kamara: 35 touches, 215 yds

Carolina claim their second win of the season, spinning the New Orleans Saints deeper into their 2024 hole.

Bryce Young remains the starter, getting the Panthers' scoring started in the second quarter with a touchdown pass to Xavier Legette, before Chuba Hubbard carried the momentum with two lead-changing scores of his own.

On the other side of the ball, Alvin Kamara did everything he could to carry the Saints home, gaining over half of the team's total yards with some stellar efforts both on the ground and through the air.

Unfortunately New Orleans couldn't manage another win on the day and fell to 2-7 on the season.

Cincinatti Bengals (41 vs 24) Las Vegas Raiders

Joe Burrow: 27/39 completed, 262 total yds, 5 TDs, 1 INT
Chase Brown: 32 touches, 157 yds, 1 TD
Mike Gesicki: 5 catches, 100 yards, 2 TDs
Troy Hendrickson: 4 sacks

Garner Minshew II: 10/17 completed, 124 yds, 1 turnover
Jakobi Meyers: 8 catches, 105 yds

Joe Burrow and the Bengals controlled this match for the most-part, conceding two fourth quarter touchdowns late to lessen the margin.

Burrow led every touchdown drive for the Bengals, finishing with five, including a 47-yarder for Mike Gesicki to put the game beyond doubt.

The Bengals' defence also held up well until the fourth quarter, conceding only 10 points when the match was up for grabs.

There wasn't much for the Raiders to be excited about beyond another impressive outing for Jakobi Meyers, who went over 100 yards receiving. A quarterback change to Desmond Ridder sparked the late scoring spree but it was too little, too late.

Cleveland Browns (10 vs 27) Los Angeles Chargers

Jameis Winston: 26/46 completed, 262 total yds, 1 TD, 3 INTs
Cedric Tillman: 6 catches, 75 yds, 1 TD
Myles Garrett: 4 tackles, 3 sacks

Justin Herbert: 18/27 completed, 282 yds, 2 TDs
Quentin Johnston: 4 catches, 118 yds, 1 TD
Tuli Tuipulotu: 3 tackles, 2.5 sacks

Fresh off their upset over Baltimore, the Browns returned to their usual form, struggling to garner much excitement on the offensive end beyond a garbage-time touchdown.

Jameis Winston has regressed back to the mean after his brief period of stardom, throwing three picks with an inefficient completion percentage.

Myles Garrett kept the margin from exploding completely, sacking Justin Herbert three times, but couldn't stop the Chargers' QB from throwing two touchdowns and Los Angeles cruised to victory.

New York Giants (22 vs 27) Washington Commanders

Daniel Jones: 20/26 completed, 228 total yds, 3 TDs, 1 turnover
Theo Johnson: 3 catches, 51 yds, 1 TD

Jayden Daniels: 15/22 completed, 244 total yds, 2 TDs
Noah Brown: 5 catches, 60 yds
Dante Fowler Jr: 3 tackles, 2 sacks

This margin flatters the Giants, who scored two fourth quarter touchdowns but never looked like winning as the Commanders closed out the dying stages without much fuss.

Daniel Jones' stats improved significantly with these fourth quarter touchdown drives, but the Giants QB struggled, throwing another pick and couldn't trouble the scorers for the majority of proceedings.

Jayden Daniels shared the receiving load around but found the endzone twice on connections with Terry McLaurin.

A six-minute drive in the fourth quarter, culminating in a 20-yard field goal with less than four minutes remaining was enough to secure the win.

Tennessee Titans (20 vs 17) New England Patriots

Mason Rudolph: 20/33 completed, 259 total yds, 2 TDs, 1 INT
Tony Pollard: 31 touches, 154 yds

Drake Maye: 29/41 completed, 301 total yds, 1 TD, 3 turnovers
Hunter Henry: 7 catches, 56 yds

Tennessee required extra time to squeeze past New England, who tied the match on a last second fling from rookie quarterback Drake Maye to Rhamondre Stevenson, sending the game to overtime.

Maye's efforts late unfortunately couldn't overshadow his three costly turnovers, as his dynamic dual-threat quarterback play also came to his detriment, throwing two picks and losing a fumble.

Tony Pollard led the charge for the Titans, providing the bulk of the ground game a helping hand in the receiving game, while Mason Rudolph put the touchdowns on the board.

Arizona Cardinals (29 vs 9) Chicago Bears

Kyler Murray: 13/20 completed, 154 yds, 1 turnover
James Conner: 21 touches, 119 yds

Caleb Williams: 22/41 completed, 217 yds
Rome Odunze: 5 catches, 104 yds

The Bears have a problem on their hands and it seems to be in their coaching staff.

They are unable to protect Caleb Williams and he has struggled to handle the pressure of each defensive line as they rush for sacks quickly and constantly.

The defense also couldn't stop James Conner from dominating the ground game for 107 yards, despite limiting Kyler Murray to just 154 yards and a lost fumble.

The Bears fall to 4-4 with serious questions about their playoff credibility.

Philadelphia Eagles (28 vs 23) Jacksonville Jaguars

Jalen Hurts: 18/24 completed, 297 total yds, 3 TDs
Saquon Barkley: 30 touches, 199 yds, 2 TDs
Zack Baun: 7 tackles, 1 INT

Trevor Lawrence: 16/31 completed, 169 yds, 2 INTs
Evan Engram: 5 catches, 45 yds
Josh Hines-Allen: 4 tackles, 2 sacks

Barring a late collapse which could've seen the Jags steal it, the Eagles looked impressive.

Jalen Hurts was back to his best, throwing efficiently, rushing strongly and launching pin-point bombs to AJ Brown and Davonte Smith as we know he can.

But Saquon Barkley stole the show with 199 yards and a ridiculous spin and backward hurdle over a defender; one of the highlights of the season so far.

If not for a decisive redzone pick thrown by Trevor Lawrence late, Philadelphia could have squandered this performance and faced serious questions over the decision-making and maturity of head coach Nick Sirianni.

Green Bay Packers (14 vs 24) Detroit Lions

Jordan Love: 23/39 completed, 273 yds, 1 INT
Josh Jacobs: 13 carries, 95 yds
Jayden Reed: 5 catches, 113 yds

Jared Goff: 18/22 completed, 145 yds, 1 TD
Jahmyr Gibbs: 12 touches, 76 yds, 1 TD

Embed from Getty Images

The Lions look like the clear NFC benchmark and potentially the second best team in the league.

Criticised for their unproven ability to perform outside of a dome, Detroit muscled up and ground out a gritty win in tumultuous conditions, taking them to 7-1.

Green Bay had chances but struggled to establish any sort of flow on the offensive end, thanks in large part to a sloppy performance by Jordan Love, who was inaccurate in the wet and threw one of the most egregious interceptions of the season - a pick six on the fringes of half-time to make it 17-3.

Jahmyr Gibbs took the lead out to 24-3 early in the third and the game was essentially decided.

Seattle Seahawks (20 vs 26) Las Angeles Rams

Geno Smith: 21/34 completed, 379 total yds, 3 TDs, 3 INTs
Jaxon Smith-Njigba: 7 catches, 180 yds, 2 TDs

Matthew Stafford: 25/44 completed, 298 yds, 2 TDs, 1 INT
Demarcus Robinson: 6 catches, 94 yds, 2 TDs
Cooper Kupp: 11 catches, 104 yds
Kamren Kinchens: 3 tackles, 2 INTs

Embed from Getty Images

36-year-old Matt Stafford continues to make a case that he is a top five quarterback in the league with clutch performances like these.

This game started slow but picked up right before half-time with a 24-yard Seahawks touchdown by Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

A 13-3 scoreline was tied up by the Rams in the third, before both teams traded fourth quarter touchdowns - a whopping 103-yard pick six by Kamren Kinchens on a terrible Geno Smith decision, before a last minute score by Smith-Njigba to send the game to overtime.

Overtime is where Stafford stood up, leading the Rams all the way up the field before launching a 39-yard dime to Demarcus Robinson for the win, taking LA to 4-4 as a genuine NFC contender.

Minnesota Vikings (21 vs 13) Indianapolis Colts

Sam Darnold: 28/34 completed, 304 total yds, 3 TDs, 3 turnovers
Justin Jefferson: 7 catches, 137 yds

Joe Flacco: 16/27 completed, 179 yds, 2 turnovers
Josh Downs: 6 catches, 60 yards

Embed from Getty Images

The Vikings claim another victory, though not in the most impressive fashion.

Sam Darnold is slowly revoking his case as an MVP candidate, even with three touchdowns and 82% completion, as his three turnovers kept the Colts afloat in this match.

Justin Jefferson carried the bulk of the receiving load with nearly 20 yards per reception from his seven catches.

Indianapolis' offense was lifeless, unable to get Jonathan Taylor into the game and unable to gain more than 60 yards out of any receiver, as Joe Flacco threw for 179 and coughed up two turnovers.

Kansas City Chiefs (30 vs 24) Tampa Bay Bucaneers

Patrick Mahomes: 34/44 completed, 300 total yds, 3 TDs
Kareem Hunt: 28 touches, 117 yds, 1 TD
Travis Kelce: 14 catches, 100 yds

Baker Mayfield: 23/31 completed, 220 total yds, 2 TDs
Cade Otten: 8 catches, 77 yds, 1 TD
Vita Vea: 7 tackles, 2 sacks

Embed from Getty Images

The Chiefs remain undefeated and continue to rise above any challenge thrown their way.

While it was the defence that had led them to a 7-0 start, Steve Spanuolo's group couldn't establish their usual dominance on Monday night, forcing Patrick Mahomes and the offense to click into gear.

Mahomes' third down stats on the night were ridiculous, throwing 10 first downs and three touchdowns, including two for star recruit DeAndre Hopkins.

Baker and the Bucs kept toiling away, however, and were able to tie the match in the final 30 seconds, sending the game to overtime. Unfortunately, an unsuccessful coin flip all but decided the match, as Mahomes and the Chiefs took the ball and drove down the field for the game-winning touchdown.
