After a big weekend of NFL action, let's take a look at the big winners and losers from the Week 4 games. (Disclaimer: One game to come, Broncos v Chiefs)
Winner: Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals went into Atlanta and took home a big win against the fancied Falcons as they continue their impressive start to this season. Quarterback Andy Dalton managed to throw for 337 yards and 3 TD's in the win as the receivers of the Bengals ran riot.
Loser: Earl Thomas
The Seahawks star has held out on training with the team to avoid injury, yet still starring on the field as he looks for a contract extension. However, the safety was dealt a cruel blow when he appeared to break his leg in their win over the Cardinals in the fourth quarter. Thomas will potentially miss the rest of this season and will not get the money in an extension that his play over the years has probably earnt him.
Winner: LA Rams
The Rams cemented their status as the team to beat in the NFC and probably in the entire league, beating the Vikings on Friday in a fantastic game. Jared Goff played probably his best game of his career, throwing for 465 yards including five touchdowns. In particular, his long throws for touchdowns which impressed as the Rams moved to 4-0.
Loser: Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers' miserable start to season 2018 continued, losing at home to Baltimore, leaving them with one victory from four games. The franchise appears to be in limbo, now exploring trades for star running back Le'Veon Bell as the team sturggles without him.
Winner: New England Patriots
Crisis talks at Foxborough were halted momentarily after the Patriots gave the Dolphins their first loss of the season. A second quarter barrage sealed the deal for New England as they relied heavily on their running game, giving Sony Michel 25 carries for 112 yards.
Loser: Jameis Winston
Winston made his return in the second half of the Bucs' loss to Chicago as 'Fitsmagic' appeared to have run its course. However, Winston failed to truly cement himself as the number one option, throwing two interceptions in the second half against a rampant Bears defence.
