The fixtures and format for the ICC ODI World Cup qualifier have been confirmed, with ten teams to fight for two spots at the tournament.
The World Cup itself will be held in India during October and November, while the qualifier will kick off on June 18 in Zimbabwe, with the final to be played on July 9.
Ulimtately, the two teams who advance to the final will both qualify to join the ten-team World Cup, which will be played in a full round robin.
The qualifier tournament has been split into two groups of five, with each team to play the other four teams in their group, before the top three teams from each group advance to a Super Six stage where they will play another two games each - against the teams who weren't in their original group, setting up another three games.
From that, the top two teams will proceed straight to the final, which is more for show given both of those teams will qualify.
Points gained in the group stage against teams who also qualify for the super six stage will be carried over, making every match during the group stage vital.
The two teams who make the final will ultimately play eight games across a 22-day period.
Group A will feature the West Indies, Zimbabwe, the Netherlands, Nepal and the United States of America, while Sri Lanka, Ireland, Sscotland, Oman and the United Arab Emirates have been drawn into Group B.
Group A has been drawn with three teams out of the Super League in the West Indies, Zimbabwe and the Netherlands, while Sri Lanka and Ireland were the other two sides who failed to gain automatic qualification.
It's unclear whether matches will be broadcast in Australia or not.
