Olympic Games 2024 schedule: Day -1 events in Australian time (Thursday, July 25)

The final day of competition before the Opening Ceremony at the 2024 Olympic Games will see Archery and Handball get underway, as well as the women's football competition, while men's rugby sevens concludes the group stage and plays its first knockout games.

Action today kicks off at 5pm (AEST) with Slovenia and Denmark clashing in the opening Handball contest of the Games. The Archery competition gets underway half an hour later with the women's Individual competition starting.

Later on, the men's rugby sevens competition has their final group stage games, before classification matches and quarter-finals commence in the early hours of the morning, while the Matildas will be in action for their first women's football game, clashing with Germany at 3am (AEST).

All times are AEST. For those in South Australia or the Northern Territory, subtract 30 minutes. For those in Western Australia, subtract two hours.
