Southampton have handed West Ham their fourth Premier League loss in a row after a 3-0 win at the London Stadium.

Charlie Austin and Dusan Tadic scored either side of half time to give the visitors a two-goal lead soon after the hour mark, and James Ward-Prowse rounded off the win in the 90th minute to give the Saints their fourth win in a row in all competitions.

โ€œWhen you are on a hot streak you just want the goals to keep coming,โ€ said Austin,ย the scorer of the opening goal.

โ€œWe're all fighting for places but as long as we win we're all happy.โ€

The loss moved West Ham down to 18th position and the Hammers only have three points from their opening six games.

Slaven Bilic's men have conceded 16 goals so far this season, the most out of any side in the Premier League.

โ€œIt is not good enough,โ€ said West Ham manager Slaven Bilic.

โ€œWe are a team expecting something to happen by default.โ€

โ€œHeavy defeats against Watford and West Brom started the situation with the confidence.

โ€œThe players are good with each other - they are maybe too good with each other.โ€
