New England boss Sam Allardyce has named his first national squad since being appointed following the nation's poor Euro 2016 campaign.

Big names were selected and even bigger names were left off, as Allardyce sets out to put his stamp on the national team.

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere and Everton star Ross Barkley were both left out of the squad, as West Ham's Michail Antonio receives his first England cap.

The 26-year-old Hammer burst onto the scene after making the move from Nottingham Forest to London Stadium, andย Antonio admitted to West Ham TV he was over the moon following the news.

"I'm overwhelmed. I got a bit emotional when I found out," said Antonio on Sunday.

"It's just one of those things that I've always dreamt of playing for England as a kid, so now for it to happen after I've worked my way from non-League to where I am now, I am just so happy."
