Spain's Lamine Yamal became the youngest player ever to feature at the UEFA European Championships when he made his competition debut against Croatia at this year's tournament.

The Barcelona sensation was just 16 years and 338 days old when he suited up for Spain in their opening match in Germany, with Yamal playing 86 minutes in his debut.

The teenager set a new record as the youngest player to grace the Euros, breaking the record set in 2021 by Poland's Kacper Kozłowski.

England's Jude Bellingham held the record during the same tournament, having made his debut six days prior to Kozłowski's.

Germany's Jamal Musiala and Spain's Pedri also debuted at the Euros in 2021 to feature on the top 10 all-time list of youngest players to feature in the competition.
