Jarrett Culver (MIN), Keita Bates-Diop (MIN) - 3 Games
Culver and KBD have been the biggest beneficiaries with the recent Minnesota rotations that have seen the team win 2 of their last 3 games. Culver has been inserted into the starting line-up and has played well alongside Wiggins and Towns and looks more comfortable as a playmaker.
Sure, your percentages may take a hit, but they will no doubt bump up so stick with him if you can get him. KBD on the other hand has benefited from Layman and Graham being injured and has really stepped up in the last three games, with averages of 17 ppg and 4 rpg. If you're looking for a source of points, rebounds and threes, KBD is the man to go for.
Rajon Rondo (LAL) - 4 Games
Rondo is still owned in a much lower percentage of leagues than he should. He is still a solid get for assists and steals and with the Lakers playing yet another 4 games next week, Rondo will be sure to pick it up even more and provide much needed scoring in those categories.
Garrett Temple (BKN) - 3 Games
Temple has benefited big time with the LeVert and Irving injuries, and has seen a big uptick in usage and performance over the last week or so. Temple is averaging 14 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 2.5 apg and 1.5 spg over the last week and is a great source of points, threes and steals if they are the categories you're looking for. Keep an eye on him while LeVert and Irving are out.
Ish Smith (WAS), Jordan McRae (WAS) - 4 Games
Smith and McRae have really stepped up their play in the last week. Smith has averaged 10 ppg, 4 rpg, 4.8 apg and 1.8 spg and is a great source of all-round play with his pace of play, while McRae is averaging 14.3 ppg, 2.3 rpg, 3.3 apg and 1.3 spg and is a great source of points and playmaking. With Isaiah Thomas not going too flash at the moment and CJ Miles out with a wrist injury that could keep him up for a few games, Smith and McRae could be some good gets for the short-term.
Bismack Biyombo (CHA) - 4 Games
Biyombo is a bit of a flier here, but his play has warranted it. Over the last week he is averaging 11.3 ppg, 7.8 rpg and 1 bpg and is a great source of rebounds and defense. With Cody Zeller losing minutes and sustaining an injury that could keep him out, and coach James Borrego talking about how their could be some rotation changes and wants to protect the rim a bit more, Biyombo is the better pick in that scheme and could see an uptick in play and production should he get the minutes to do so. He's worth a pick to see if he can keep his hot playing going.
