Yaya Toure's agent Dimitri Seluk has said he'c considering taking Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola to court over the treatment of Toure.

The four-time African Player of the Year had been left out of City's Champions League squad and hasn't played one minute in the Premier League so far this season.

Seluk launched a stinging attack on Guardiola on the BBC's World Football Podcast, claiming the Spanish manager has treated some of City's best players with disrespect.

โ€œPep Guardiola - he thinks only about himself. He thinks he is already God,โ€ Seluk said.

โ€œHe won with Barcelona many titles but Yaya also won the same titles with Barcelona (Toure was in fact sold in 2010 and Guardiola stayed till 2012 accruing more silverware).

โ€œPep thinks now he has won everything and he can do what he wants.โ€

โ€œFor me, very strange things (have happened) in Manchester City because Yaya played with them many years, (Joe) Hart played with them many years, I don't know, (Vincent) Kompany played many years, and (in) comes a new coach and says, โ€˜Okay, these players out like dogs'โ€.

Seluk also added that Guardiola's techniques are breaching Toure's contract, and the Ukrainian agent is considering going to the top.

โ€œWhat Guardiola is doing is illegal," Seluk said.

โ€œHe thinks he can act like this because Yaya is in the last year of his contract and FIFA's regulations say we can only appeal about this decision at the end of the season.

โ€œBut the fact is that Yaya is being punished for things he hasn't said.

โ€œAs his agent and friend, it is my job to speak if I feel Yaya is not being treated fairly. But Yaya himself has acted professionally and has not said anything about Guardiola and his situation in Manchester.

โ€œI believe this breaks employment law, so we will see.โ€
