Usman Khawaja is weighing up a decision to sit out of Brisbane Heat's next finals matchup as Australia's test tour of India nears.
Khawaja helped the Heat knock out the Sydney Thunder on Friday night, scoring 94 runs off 55 balls in the rain affected match, but is now in doubt to line up against the Renegades in Melbourne on Sunday.
The 36-year-old was just one of five Test members who featured in Friday night's clash, with the squad members set to fly to the subcontinent next week to prepare for the first test on February 9.
Heat teammate Mitch Swepson will miss the clash as he heads to India on Wednesday for a spinners warm-up training camp, but the remaining three - Khawaja, Matt Renshaw and Marnus Labuschagne have reportedly been given the all clear to play this weekend.
Speaking after the Heat's win, Khawaja said he was yet to put too much thought into the situation.
"I haven't thought that far ahead if I'm being honest," Khawaja told media.
"I wanted to just win this game and then I'll cross that bridge and figure out what I want to do.
