Changes are coming at the Washington Wizards following an explosive altercation at a recent practice.
According toย The Atlantic'sย Shams Charania, several verbal arguments broke out at the practice, with Bradley Beal and Austin Rivers at the centre of it.
Beal gestured to team officials, "I've been dealing with this s**t for seven years. It starts with the top down."
Tensions also flared between John Wall and Jeff Green, and when Wizards coach Scott Brooks tried to break them up Wall told him 'f**k you'.
The Wizards fined Wall for the incident, who apologised to Brooks shortly afterwards and his teammates the following day.
After a rocky 5-11 start to the season, it is understood that Wall's relationship with his teammates has broken down.
ESPN'sย Adrian Wojnarowski reported earlier on Tuesday (AEST) that the Wizards were willing to listen to trade offers for Beal and Wall, and it seems like it's only a matter of time before they make a move.
Washington's preference would be to trade Wall, however, moving his lucrative contract would be difficult.
Wall, 28, is on a super max deal, and is set to make upwards of $41.2 million USD annually for the next four years, while the 25-year old Beal is being paid closer to $25 million USD per season.
