The Western Sydney Wanderers have announced their four foreign signings for the 2016/17 Westfield W-League season.

Americans Katie Stengel, Kendall Fletcher, Alex Arlitt and Paige Nielsen have all joined the Red and Black of Western Sydney as the Wanderers look to finalise their roster.

Stengel makes the move from ladder leading Washington Spirit in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) in America, and has also won a title in Germany with Bayern Munich.

Fletcher has already played for Canberra United, Melbourne Victory and Central Coast Mariners in the W-League, and has won both a Premiership and Championship in Australia.

Arlitt will join Western Sydney on loan from NWSL club Kansas City, while Neilsen joins from Seattle.

โ€œOur four American signings are players of fantastic calibre who align with the club's values, the team's values and my football philosophyโ€, Wanderers Head Coach Rich Byrne said on the signings.

โ€œAt the Wanderers we're building a culture of hard-working players with a winning mentality and as a collective these four players will bring experience, lift the standard and help us achieve good performance.

โ€œKendall Fletcher creates a perfect blend of youth and experience within the team, the standard of Katie Stengel's seasons in Germany and Washington makes her a very good signing and Alex and Paige's college resumes are of high standard.โ€

All four women will make the move to Australia in October once they've completed their duties with their current clubs.
