The Golden State Warriors have won yet again, equaling the record for the best ever start to an NBA season.

Golden State beat the Denver Nuggets 118-105, to record a 15-0 start to their title defence.

Klay Thompson top scored with 21 points, while Steph Curry scored 19 points and had seven assists and four rebounds.

The Warriors' winning streak ties them with the Washington capitols of 1948-49 and the Housten Rockets of 1993-94, who also started their seasons with a 15-0 winning streak.

However, if the Warriors can beat the LA lakers in their next fixture on Wednesday, then they hold the record outright.

Golden State now also hold the record for the best start to a season by the defending champions, surpassing the Boston Celtics of 1957-58.
