Daniel Craig may have signed up for another James Bond film but Repsol Honda rider Dani Pedrosa put his hand up to replace him with a Bond-esque arrival at the Red Bull Ring for the Austrian Grand Prix this weekend.
Doing his best 007 impression – or in the case of Pedrosa 026 – the Spaniard, in a clip entitled From Spielberg with Love, struts into the scene in his dinner jacket at Casino Salzburg.
Once there he predictably orders his drink on the rocks, on this occasion a Martini replaced by a Red Bull, before being sent instructions to meet in a town square with further guidance on arriving at the circuit in style.
Helicoptering overhead, he leaps out of the chopper strapped to a diving instructor to produce a Skyfall at 200km/h before coming to a safe landing at the heart of the circuit.
Whipping off his jumpsuit to unveil his full racing suit underneath, he hops into the seat of his Honda and produces a flying lap around the track.
Pedrosa is the early bird for this weekend's event, where he fully intends to have a Licence to Thrill.
But fans are similarly encouraged to get their early for the action whether coming by land or air, or by skydiving a la Pedrosa.
