Three Premier League clubs have made some important signings just a week out for the start of the season.

Last year's champions have re-signed goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, with the Danish international staying in Leicester for another five seasons.

The 29-year-old played every minute of the Foxes's title winning season, and showed his loyalty to the club in signing the new deal.

โ€œIt was a case of coming back after winning the Premier League and making sure the hunger was the same within myself and the squad,โ€ Schmeichel told the club's website.

Manchester City have added another youngster, with 19-year-old Colombian Marlos Moreno signing from Atletico Nacional forย ยฃ4.75m.
