Three Premier League clubs have made some important signings just a week out for the start of the season.
Last year's champions have re-signed goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, with the Danish international staying in Leicester for another five seasons.
The 29-year-old played every minute of the Foxes's title winning season, and showed his loyalty to the club in signing the new deal.
“It was a case of coming back after winning the Premier League and making sure the hunger was the same within myself and the squad,” Schmeichel told the club's website.
Manchester City have added another youngster, with 19-year-old Colombian Marlos Moreno signing from Atletico Nacional for £4.75m.
Moreno is seen as a future investment by City, as the forward will spend this season on loan in Spain with Deportivo La Coruna.
David Moyes has made his first signing for Sunderland, completing a deal for Chelsea defender Papy Djilobodji.
The £8m move will see Djilobodji move to Wearside on a four-year contract.
