The W-League season fixture was released on Wednesday, with double headers the main focus of the ninth edition of the competition.
19 double headers with Hyundai A-League fixtures will take place this season, although one of those games in particular will be a league first.
The opening round fixture of the W-League between Perth and Western Sydney will be played AFTER the Round 5 Hyundai A-League match between the two sides on November 6.
Fox Sports and ABC Television will show 14 matches through the regular season, as well as all games of the 2017 Finals Series.
Like last season, the upcoming campaign will also see two Sydney derbies (Rounds 2 and 9) and two Melbourne derbies (Rounds 4 and 12).
Greg O'Rourke, head of the Westfield W-League, believes the 2016/17 draw is a good indication of just how much women's football has grown in recent years.
"Having 19 double headers puts the Westfield W-League on the main stage with the Hyundai A-League and gives football fans even more opportunity to get out and experience the best Australian domestic football has to offer,โ said O'Rourke.
"Women's football is an important component of FFA's Whole of Football Plan and strategy over the next 20 years and females represent over 20 per cent of registered participants.
โThis Westfield W-League draw, together with the calibre of players set to grace the field, has all of the elements to be the best season yet and will continue to encourage even more females to play and be involved in the game."
The opening match of the W-League season will take place on November 5 between Brisbane and Sydney, with the Grand Final to take place on February 12, 2017.
