There are five cycling monuments which are known as the most prestigious, oldest, hardest one-day cycling races.
They all consist of close to 250 kilometres and besides the three Grand Tour races, the cycling monuments are the five most-watched cycling races each year.
These five races are known as Milano-San Remo, De Ronde van Vlaanderen, Paris-Roubaix, Liรจge-Bastogne-Liรจge, and Il Lombardia.
Each race is unique and tests a rider's physicality differently.
