The Japanese Formula 1 Grand Prix has recently made a switch to the start of the season, but it won't stop it from being one of the more entertaining races on the calendar.
Suzuka is one of the world's best tracks and nearly always delivers, with the Japanese public getting right behind the event.
Over the years, the race, which was first held back in 1963 (but wasn't held in 1965, 1970, 1978 through 1986, and again in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID) has seen both Suzuka and Fuji bare witness to some of the greatest ever drivers to sit in a Formula 1 car.
Suzuka has now been the permanent host to the race since 2009.
But when it comes to the most victories in the nation, Michael Schumacher sits alone at the top of the pile ahead of one of the modern-day greats.
Intriguingly, no Australian has ever won the Japense Grand Prix, while Schumacher is the only driver to win more than two in a row, taking victories in 2000, 2001 and 2002.
Lewis Hamilton (2014 and 2015), Sebastian Vettel (2009 and 2010, and 2012 and 2013), and Max Versateppn (2022 and 2023) are the only other drivers to go back-to-back in Japan.
Despite that, it's McLaren who have the most wins in Japan by constructor.
