Venus Williams has burst back into the top 10 in the world for the first time in four and a half years.
Williams won the inaugural WTA Elite Trophy overnight in Southern China to clinch her second title in recent weeks and get back into the top-10 in the world in women's tennis. The 35-year-old recorded a hard fought 7-5 7-6 (8-6) win over Czech Karolina Pliskova.
The seven-time Grand Slam champion is now ranked seventh in the world and becomes the oldest female top-10 player in 20 years.
