Pakistan has confirmed its squad for the upcoming ICC Women's T20 World Cup, which will take place in October in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) after initially being scheduled to be held in Bangladesh.
Fatima Sana, 24, will captain the 15-player squad after the national selection committee decided to unanimously replace former captain and veteran Nida Dar from the duties. However, Dar has still been named in the squad.
A bowling all-rounder, Sana has accumulated 215 runs and 31 wickets in the international white-ball format and has previously led the country's Emerging and domestic teams.
