As the 2024 Money in the Bank PLE inches closer and closer, the WWE has announced a huge championship match for the event.
After his singles match was cut short against Ludwig Kaiser on Monday Night Raw (the June 25, 2024 episode), Bron Breakker demanded an Intercontinental Championship match against reigning title-holder Sami Zayn.
The request was then granted by Raw General Manager Adam Pearce who made it official for the 2024 Money in the Bank PLE.
Since coming onto the main roster, Breakker - the son of former wrestler Rick Steiner and nephew of Scott Steiner - is being pushed as a top heel of the company and a big star on Monday Night Raw.

2. Iyo Sky vs Chelsea Green vs Lyra Valkyria vs TBA vs TBA vs TBA (MITB Ladder Match for a Women's Championship match contract)
3. Damien Priest (c) vs Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship
4. Sami Zayn (c) vs Bron Breakker for the WWE Intercontinental Championship
The Money in the Bank event will take place on July 7 (Australia time) at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario in Canada.
